Format:
18 holes stroke play. Contestants will play from the Blue tee markers wherever they are situated. Qualifiers will advance to the Championship proper at Granite Bay Golf Club on June 16-21, 2025. The number of spots available at each qualifying site will be determined based on the total number of entrants and the final field at each site. Final number of spots will be available from the Committee on the day of qualifying.
Competition Schedule:
Starting times will begin on holes #1 and #10 at 8:30 AM. Players should be at their assigned tee 10 minutes prior to their starting time.
Practice Round Information:
Green fee: $100 + $25 cart fee. Please contact Bayonet GC and identify yourself as a participant in the California Amateur Qualifier to book.
Food and Beverage Availability:
The Bayview Grille will be open at 7:00 AM and will serve breakfast and lunch items throughout the day.
Pro Shop:
Pro shop will open at 6:30 AM.
Practice Range:
Driving range will open at 6:30 AM, and balls will be provided in the pro shop.
Cart Information:
The use of automatic transportation is prohibited for ALL play. Automotive transportation is prohibited. Players and caddies must walk. Pull carts are permitted. Spectator carts are prohibited.
Refund Policy:
Requests for refunds prior to the entry closing date will be honored less a $20 administrative fee. Requests received after the entry closing date and 48 hours prior to the event will be honored less 50% of the entry fee. No refunds will be honored within 48 hours of the event.
ADDITIONAL RULES INFORMATION
Rules Information:
The Rules of Golf effective January 2023 is in effect and are supplemented by the 2025 CGA Hard Card. The Committee will provide any additional Local Rules needed at the qualifying site. It is the player’s responsibility to know the conditions of the competition.
Deciding Ties: All ties for the final qualifying spots and/or position of alternates will be broken by the USGA recommended method of matching scorecards (Committee Procedures, Section 5A(6)).
Prohibition on Certain Types of Shoes:
The Local Rule as prescribed in Section 8 of the Committee Procedures is in effect. Model Local Rule G-7.
